Almost a week away!

What an exciting week for Boxerstock 2010!

Last year's event was publicized primarily by word of mouth with an excellent turnout, but in addition to press releases, PSAs, and other promotions, Atlanta Boxer Rescue's Claudia Janka (CJ) and Dianne DaLee have made TWO major media appearances. Here are the links:

Interview with Rob Stadler of Star94 Radio to be aired THIS SUNDAY (October 17th) between 6:30 and 7:00AM and again the morning of Boxerstock: On the left menu under "MUSIC" is a link to "listen live".

Adorable and comical Oscar was featured as the Good Day Pet for Friday, October 15th on Good Day Atlanta.

Two weeks and counting...

...until THE event that's going to rock the park! Jim Miller Park in Marietta, GA is the venue for Boxerstock 2010, an all day music festival on October 24th from 12:00 to 7:00PM. All proceeds from this family (and dog) friendly event benefit Atlanta Boxer Rescue.

In addition to concessions, vendor booths, children's activities, a miniature dog park, canine demonstrations and a silent auction, Boxerstock offers music from a variety of genres from nationally known and local performers. And it is a treat for me to be back as emcee this year! So how can YOU help?

If you're in the Atlanta area (or are nearby and want to make a road trip), PLEASE JOIN US! Tickets are available online ($10 for adults and $5 for children and military/students with valid ID) or may be purchased the day of the event.

Comedy Love has gone to the dogs!

During the month of October, for every "Shelly's Nursery Rhymes: The REST of the Story" CD purchased I will donate 50% of the proceeds to Atlanta Boxer Rescue in conjunction with BOXERSTOCK 2010, an all-day music festival to be held on October 24th.
